Alwin and Atje
With our two children we love to be active on our holidays, preferably in the mountains. It takes you only 30 minutes to find really nice mountain hiking trails, for example in the Orihuela surroundings. The spectacular wide views are a fantastic reward to a great hike.
We have so many good restaurants in the area. Close to us is our favourite, Las Cuevas. It’s a restaurant in a 500 year old cave, a special experience.
Or go to Santa Pola fish market: very fresh food, your feet in the sand and a good Spanish wine to go with that. Lovely!
Neeltje and Frank
We love that we are in an area with so many ancient cities and towns. With our two children we visit them all. Preferably when there is a cultural event. Luckily, the Spanish like to celebrate, so there are many events throughout the year.
Our favourite beach is Cabo Roig. Have tapas or paella at restaurant La Bahia after a swim.
We also like to make tours by car, to explore the beautiful inlands. Almost enchanting is the Valle de Ricote. A must see, we think.
